Pets, livestock, and wildlife are particularly vulnerable when disaster strikes. When State Farm agents heard that people were being turned away from shelters because they brought dogs with them and had no kennels, they purchased 100 kennels so that the dogs could stay out of shelters and with their humans.
From firefighters on the front lines to small business owners donating food, water and more, acts of kindness both large and small are what make our communities strong.
